The Barn on the Pemi: Rustic Elegance with Two Century History
New Hampshire’s wedding and event venue, The Barn on the Pemi, sits high above the Pemigewasset River on a secluded hilltop with breathtaking mountain views off of historic Route 3 in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
A Barn with History
Opened in April 2018, this 1855 barn originating from Canterbury, New Hampshire was lovingly disassembled by The Common Man family, restored and relocated to preserve its nearly two-century history. Surrounded by wilderness, it offers the perfect mix of modern conveniences and rustic charm.
Rustic Elegance and Simplicity
The Barn on the Pemi is ideal for an intimate elopement or a ceremony and reception for up to 300 guests. The 10,000 square foot space exudes a rustic elegance and simplicity that is perfect for a bride and groom to personalize and make truly their own. They offer an expansive outdoor terrace, a stone fireplace, a seasonal greenhouse and more.
Guests can indulge in chef-designed farm-to-table menus and cocktails from two full service bars. The celebration will go on – following dinner with a magical reception complete with dancing on The Barn’s dance floor.
Antique Trolley
The Barn on the Pemi also offers a charming antique trolley that takes guests back and forth to The Common Man Inn & Spa up the road, which is where guests often stay, as well as to other area Inns.
New Tiny Houses for Bride and Groom Accommodations
Their new collection of (five) tiny guest cabins, offering sweeping mountain views, is the latest exciting addition to The Barn on the Pemi. Each tiny cabin provides a quaint open-framed interior with a Queen bed for two guests, Adirondack-style furnishings, charming front porches, gas fireplaces, and mountain-facing windows. Also available to guests of the tiny houses, are amenities of the nearby Common Man Inn & Spa including the heated indoor pool, sauna, rock waterfall hot tub, exercise room and delicious hot continental breakfast from the Rise & Shine Café.
Farewell Brunch
A Farewell Brunch is offered for the morning after the wedding, at The Barn on the Pemi’s Italian Farmhouse on the property.
