High School Sweet Hearts Have Their Dream Wedding

High school sweethearts, Hunter and Brandon had dreamed of this day for many years. Everything went just as planned and their day brought such good memories to last a lifetime. It was a beautiful September day, with 85 degree temps and plenty of sunshine. The forecast had predicted some rain, but thankfully not one drop!
The morning of their wedding day, Hunter slipped down 3 stairs and landed face first on a concrete garage floor. Thankfully, she was not injured but was a little purple and blue on the couple’s honeymoon. They preferred not to do a first look but did hold hands without seeing each other as their pastor Vernon Wilkerson prayed with them. It was a very sweet moment. When the bride entered the church, Brandon smiled so big at his beautiful bride.
The bridesmaids wore burgundy wine dresses and carried white and ivory flowers. The wedding party consisted of close family and friends that all had a special place in the couple’s hearts. The bride even had one of her bridesmaids travel all the way from Germany to be a part of the wedding day. Hunter held back tears the entire day until the end of the night when she realized she was leaving her sweet friend.
The bride wore a satin, A lined gown with buttons all the way down the back to the end of the train. The beautiful pearl colored gown also had a belt with matching straps and pockets that looked amazing on the bride.
The Bride
The reception was decorated with natural greenery, gold and silver accents. The Homestead Festival House was the perfect space for the guest and wedding party where a night of dancing and celebrating took place. The newlywed’s first dance was to Elvis Presley, “I can’t help falling in love with you.” Hunter and her dad are usually very emotional, so they planned ahead to discuss a variety of topics such as bills and adult life to keep them both from crying and guess what? It worked!
The maid of honor, who was the bride’s sister, made an unforgettable speech that left everyone knowing how much the two sisters used to fight over clothes. Hunter and Braden played a well-known wedding game, called The Shoe game that they totally recommend. It is played by both bride and groom sitting in chairs that are back to back. Both the bride and groom remove both of their shoes and exchange one so that they are both holding one of each shoe. During the game, a series of questions are asked by the DJ and the answer will either be “the bride” or “the groom.” The bride and groom answer by holding up the shoe of the correct answer. Some of the questions may include “who said I love you first?” or “who is the better driver?” It added many laughs to the night and the couple enjoyed playing the game.
At the end of the night, the couple left to cheers and sparklers during their send off.
It was an unforgettable night and everything went as planned.
