Culzean Castle and Country Park is located in the picturesque South Ayrshire in Scotland. This fairy tale wedding venue is perched on a clifftop overlooking the Isle of Arran and surrounded by glorious gardens and woodlands.  Redesigned by Robert Adam in the 1700s, Culzean was transformed from a small tower house into the grand stately home and country house found today.

From intimate weddings for two to larger weddings for 500, Culzean caters for all sizes and styles of weddings. From the stunning walled garden filled with exotic flowers, the beautiful Camellia House with floor to ceiling windows, the dramatic Robert Adam staircase, the elegant Round Room or the Viewing Platform overlooking the Ayrshire Coastline – the options are flexible for ceremony and reception! The State Dining Room makes for a grand and historic feel for your wedding meal or the Stone Barn offers a rustic and unique experience. Each option leaves room to add personal touches to your special day – and we love this! 
 

The castle is not only gorgeous to look at, but also has amazing food prepared on site by their Executive Chef and his team. The castle’s wedding menus offer an array of dishes. Some ingredients are sourced straight from their vegetable patches in the Walled Garden. 

For larger parties, guests can even be entertained with a private tour of the castle while the bridal party takes those all-important wedding photos!  With 600 acres, several beaches and numerous gardens, you will be spoilt for choice for photo opportunities. In addition, the castle has onsite accommodations for a maximum of 20 guests.   
 

This castle not only wows us to look at with its gorgeous structure and grounds but offers amazing flexible venue options that we love – and brides can truly personalize to be their own. The history, food, and overall atmosphere takes us back in time and makes us feel as if we are truly part of a fairy tale. It truly must be seen to believe it!
