A Mountain View Farm Wedding | Betty + Kaleb

Betty and Kaleb, two high-school sweethearts, are head over heels in love and their big day could not have been more perfect! Their beautiful spring wedding was held at Mountain View Farm in Rougemont, North Carolina on a gorgeous sunny spring day. They could not have picked a more perfect place for their wedding – with 100 acres of rolling green fields, a private lake, tall trees and endless romance.

With seven ceremony locations on the property, they chose to get married at the custom-built wooden 16 by 8-foot cross, saying their “I Dos” shaded by tall oak trees. A spacious green grassy lawn was just perfect for their large number of seated guests. The rustic stone arch with wooden entry doors on the property made a dramatic entrance effortless for the beautiful bride, escorted by her father. The ceremony was filled with tears and laughter both.

 

Betty wore a mermaid-style lace gown with beautiful beading detail by Allure – Caryn’s Bridal in Farmville, Virginia. Her nine bridesmaids wore blush floor-length gowns adorned with gold beading detail. Kaleb and his groomsmen wore navy suits with crisp white button-down shirts and ties. The fresh floral bouquets and arrangements, provided by the bride’s stepmother, added a colorful pop of pink, peach and blush surrounded by pretty greenery. Atop Mountain View Farm’s custom built farmhouse tables were the fresh florals arranged in gold antique vases. Vintage-style details and natural wood elements completed the look for Betty and Kaleb’s reception decor - and wow, did it pull together perfectly! A unique touch to the reception decor we loved, with both bride and groom being catchers for their former college softball/baseball teams, were Cracker Jacks being served from a wine barrel bar.

 

The dance floor was a huge hit at Betty and Kaleb’s wedding! First off, let me start by saying the two bands were outstanding! The Lawson Creek Bluegrass Band performed for the ceremony and cocktail hour; Souljam played at the reception and they really got the crowd going!
