Our building has a rich history dating back to 1889 as the Rucker Rosenstock department store. Later it became Butterworth’s Furniture store and recently, in 2014, underwent a 6 million dollar renovation transforming the building into The Ward Center for Contemporary Art and the Butterworth Flats.
