Veterans Memorial Park was acquired by Boise Parks Recreation in 1997 through a 25 year lease agreement between Boise City and the State of Idaho. The park is for the benefit of the people of the State of Idaho, Idaho's Veterans, and the general public. There are several memorials throughout the park, a plaza, playground and pathways.
