Cutie Pies Bakery was a dream of co-owner Tanya Clark since she was 16 years old! She attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, worked at some of the most exclusive and well-known restaurants in both Connecticut and Rhode Island and graduated in 2007 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Food service Management with an Associate’s Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts in 2005! In 2011, with over 10 years’ experience in the pastry and baking world, her and I decided it was time to make her dream a reality! After growing up in Thomaston, CT, and deciding this is where we wanted to settle down, we found an old ice cream shop, completely renovated it, added state of the art equipment, and started to build the foundation for Cutie Pies. On October 4, 2011 we opened the doors and have been unstoppable since! We do everything from custom cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, pies, and so much more! Everyday our showcase has a variety of cupcake flavors (many made with freshly whipped cream), cakes, cheesecakes and pies made fresh for you for any occasion! With 250+ flavors, the cupcakes are always changing. With our creative team of bakers, there is always something new to try. Trust me I’m the official taste tester. We also offer consultations and design custom cakes or cupcakes for any occasion. From birthdays, graduations and smash cakes all the way to engagements, bridal showers and weddings! Since 2011, we have grown tremendously and do hundreds of weddings a year! In 2014 we added a CUPCAKE TRUCK to serve as a mobile expansion and offer our treats to the masses! We rent it out for any occasion and also bring it to fairs, food truck festivals, and local events! This has allowed us to travel with our signature fresh, real, whipped cream cupcakes and allows us to offer a lighter version of our very best cupcakes to your events!
