History In 1915, Fred Weiss opened a small jewelry store in downtown Greeley. His son Howard grew up in the business and later opened his own jewelry store a few blocks from his father’s original store. Howard’s son Rich returned to Greeley in 1985, ready to carry on the family business. After several years, Rich decided to move the jewelry store into its new location in west Greeley. Weiss Jewelers’ celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2015.
