Being family owned and operated since 1942, York Flowers has reached and surpassed our goal of delighting our customers for over 70 years, and we like to think we’re just getting started! Our reputation for excellence in the floral industry has helped us achieve tremendous growth in recent years. When Blackstone Florist (1996) and Clark’s Florist (2000) closed their businesses, we were asked by both companies to continue caring for their clientele. We were happy accept and are glad to report that our "floral village" has become even bigger, happier, and more flowery than ever! In April of 2004, we added an additional location when we acquired the always wonderful Flowers By James and Colonial Florist Annapolis in 2015. We were pleased to keep a tradition alive while bringing our experience and skills to serve the Annapolis community. We are working hard to earn the confidence and trust in this vibrant, historic market while learning about the traditions of Annapolis and its surrounding areas. At York, we select the highest quality plants and flowers on a daily basis to fill our retail locations in Northwest Washington DC and Historic Annapolis, MD.
