Rachel Trimarco was born and raised in Brooklyn. While attending Brooklyn Friends School and Cornell University, she enjoyed painting and arranging flowers as an artistic respite from her studies. When it came time to choosing her wedding décor years later, Rachel was more than thrilled to indulge in her love for flowers, using her favorite blooms to express beauty and emotion. The concept for a wedding floral boutique sprung from Rachel’s experience visualizing a lush and exquisite floral landscape for her own wedding. On the morning of Rachel’s wedding, a bride-to-be did a walk through of the venue and gushed at the elegant and romantic floral décor. Rachel returned from her honeymoon to a phone message from the venue’s event coordinator asking who her florist was. That bride became her first client! Excited and inspired, Rachel left her career as a television news producer to pursue her passion for floral design. In 2008, Rachel founded Bride & Blossom. Just like a flower, every bride is unique.
