Heinel's Clothiers, established in 1879, is one of Vermont's oldest continuously running clothing stores. Fred Heinel started his tailoring business where Up for Breakfast is located today. He and his son Fred eventually expanded to a full fledged "men's furnishings" store. First through a move to the Factory Point Bank building and eventually to an addition built onto his home in 1970 at the current location. The Weeks' are only the fifth owners of Heinel's and acquired the business in 2013.
Heinel's offers Vermont style men's and women's clothing, traditional woolens and flannels, footwear, accessories, Vermont T-Shirts, sweats, blankets and gifts. Brands include Woolrich, Johnson Woolen Mills, Outback, Tribal, Levi's, Sorel and Acorn. In addition Heinel's has provided quality formalwear rentals, purchases and accessories for over 25 years. A tradition of personalized customer service and a commitment to excellence puts Heinel's Clothiers above the rest.
