If you are looking for a truly distinctive venue, Lake O’ The Woods Plantation is ideal for your North Carolina wedding or event.
Unlike other venues, we are a private home that is available for a limited number of events per year. We offer an “At Home” atmosphere which will let you, family and guests experience true southern hospitality.
The fully restored and renovated 6000+ sq. ft. 1850’s Plantation Manor House is registered on the National Register of Historical Places.
Located just outside Historical Warrenton, NC, Lake O’ The Woods Plantation is nestled in over 100+ acres of land and is considered one of the best-preserved plantations in North Carolina due to its' handsome rural setting and the many early nineteen century outbuildings and dependencies that remain today.
Our approach to packaging is also unique. While we have “Sample Packages’ for perspective clients to review… we do not have a “one package fits all” approach. This means we will happily work with you to “design” a package to your specifications so you have a choice in the style of wedding or event you want and of course greater economic freedom.
Our packages can be created offering Site Only all the way to All-Inclusive options. “Site Only” means you can bring in your own vendors such as caterers, DJ’s, Florist, etc. (one of a few venues to allow this) and “All Inclusive” means we provide the vendors and organize the event, your personal planners. You can also opt to do some things yourself and have us handle the rest, whatever works for you…
These both can be either day, one night or weekend packages utilizing either the full Plantation, part or just the Manor House.
