María Margarita + Andrés are a couple from Bucaramanga, a beautiful city on the east side of Colombia. Six months prior to their wedding date, they decided to enlist the expertise of World Class Wedding Venue Partner - Wedding Planner, Isa Katime, to coordinate every detail they imagined and planned.

Their gorgeous wedding was to take place on February 17, 2018 at the La Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino.
This beautiful Colombian hacienda is an emblematic and historic place in Santa Marta, Colombia. The venue was built in the 17th century and is famous for being the death place of Simon Bolivar. At that time, the estate produced rum, honey and panela. The quinta is very popular for wedding celebrations and is in the corregimiento of Mamatoco within the tourist district of Santa Marta, near the Caribbean sea in northern Colombia. Nowadays, it functions as a museum, historical landmark and tourist destination.

What made this wedding special and unique was that the couple used the garden between Bolivar´s house and the monument to create a truly romantic setting, which was different from the norm. It was the first time using that area for a wedding. The garden was used for both ceremony and reception. Beautiful lit chandeliers and ivory heart-shaped florals hung from tree branches above the area. Gorgeous overflowing vases were atop every table filled with elegant and romantic white and blush florals.
The ceremony was catholic and exchange of vows were said in front of the lake. All guests came from Bucaramanga and other Colombian cities. This evening wedding began at 4:30 pm because the couple wanted a sunset ceremony. This worked out so perfectly – every detail and moment was picture-perfect. So much love and laughter filled the evening. Every tiny detail was thoughtfully curated by Isa Katime, bride and groom.
